✨ Jewellery Care & Gentle Wear ✨

Every piece from The Quiet Fairy Shop is handmade with care using elastic cord, glass and crystal beads, and stainless steel components. I always do my best to use high-quality materials and improve my designs with every piece. Many of my designs are made with elastic cord, which may gently stretch over time — this is a normal part of its life. I pre-stretch strings to help prevent breakage and loosening.

Materials Overview:

• Stainless Steel: durable and resistant to tarnish.

• Gold Pieces: plated using PVD, lasting up to a couple of years before gently fading to stainless steel.

• Copper Core Pieces: a few items may use copper core due to supplier availability; these may tarnish faster if not cared for.

• Glass & Crystal Beads: carefully selected to sparkle and delight; they may chip or crack if dropped or knocked.

Caring for your pieces:

• Keep jewellery away from water — avoid showers, swimming, or bathing while wearing it.

• Avoid harsh chemicals, perfumes, or sprays in direct contact with your pieces.

• Remove jewellery before exercising to prevent excessive stretching or sweat damage.

• Take off jewellery before sleeping.

• Handle gently; do not pull or tug roughly, as elastic may snap or metal wire may bend.

• Avoid dropping or hitting your jewellery against hard surfaces.

• Store pieces safely in a pouch or small box to protect them.

Cleaning:

• Each piece comes with a soft microfiber cloth for gently wiping and keeping your jewellery sparkling.
